This Alaska square was also not one of my favorites, but it was still pretty enjoyable to work on. I basically had to redo the satin-stitched flowers because I had used 6 strands of embroidery floss and it was too heavy. So I went to 4 and that worked much better. They were still quite bulky, but I like them as they are now.

And this is my current project: the Wyoming Paint Brush. I actually have more done on it than this pic shows since I worked on it a bunch at last night's lock-in. Many little girls came up to see what I was working on and liked what they saw. I encouraged them all to try it themselves. It's not that hard, really. And it doesn't have to be perfect (says the recovering perfectionist! lol).

Soooo pretty! I have been working on a poncho for goose, I saw one on etsy and couldn't get it out of my mind till I made it. finished yesterday. I didn't have a pattern of course, just winged it, but she loves it and I really like it, and hopefully I can think of something else now! :)
They all look beautiful to me! What a neat and ambitious project!
Lenetta, I hope you blog about it so I can see it. You're such a crafty thing (in the best sense).
Jordana, the lovely thing about it is the relaxed pace. I can do a lot or a little, it's up to me. Very satisfying hobby for a busy mom. *hint hint*
